Trail Seeker

The Directorate runs the world. You don't exist to it.

Trail Seeker is a daily survival roguelite set in 2079, where an AI governance system called the Directorate has quietly optimized humanity out of its own future. You play as an operator — a scavenger running solo outside the system, scanning abandoned sectors for pre-collapse technology, scrap, and anything the machine decided you don't need.

Each day you get a limited window of scans to search a 6x6 sector grid. Three scan types shape every session:

SCOUT — Low risk, modest haul. Map the sector and stay alive.

SEEKER — Higher risk, better signal. Failed reads cost HP and rover condition.

GAMBIT — All or nothing. Burn the scan for the best loot or walk away with nothing.

Your gear loadout determines how risky and rewarding each scan feels. Equip sensor rigs, exo vests, nav boots, and weapons across four hardpoint zones. Better gear drops from deeper sectors and harder encounters.

Boss tiles and anomalies trigger turn-based combat. Read enemy telegraphs — TARGETING, EXPOSED, SCANNING — and choose to attack, defend, or run. Weapons amplify your damage. Losing hurts.

The game runs on tension and daily stakes:

HP and scrap drain every day you play.

If HP hits zero, your sector progress resets.

Consecutive daily logins build your streak, sharpening scan quality and unlocking better drops.

Miss a day and the streak resets.

Four sector maps across normal and hard difficulty. 20 pieces of gear across three tiers. Pixel art enemies, ambient cyberpunk soundtrack, and a terminal-style interface built for the world it lives in.
