Siid is a non-custodial Solana wallet with end-to-end encrypted chat and calls — built so the natural overlap between "I just sent you SOL" and "let's coordinate the next trade" lives in one place, without depending on a centralized server.
WALLET (non-custodial)
- Your seed phrase is generated and stored locally, encrypted with PBKDF2-SHA256 (600,000 rounds) + AES-GCM-256 — or, on a Solana Seeker, held in the device's Seed Vault instead, so it never lives in Siid's storage at all.
- We have no copy of your keys and no recovery mechanism. We literally cannot move your funds.
- Send and receive SOL and any SPL token. Network fee only — SIID adds 0% on plain transfers.
SOLANA SEEKER — SEED VAULT
- On a Seeker, you can add an account whose key lives in the phone's Seed Vault rather than in Siid's own encrypted storage. This is why Siid requests the com.solanamobile.seedvault.ACCESS_SEED_VAULT permission.
- Siid uses that permission for exactly two things: reading the public addresses of accounts you select, and signing transactions you have explicitly approved — each one behind the device fingerprint prompt.
- Siid never reads, exports, or transmits the seed itself. It cannot leave the device.
- It is optional. A wallet held in Siid's own encrypted storage, or a connected Ledger, works without this permission, and Siid does not request Seed Vault access for either. The option is hidden entirely on devices without a Seed Vault.
- The same explanation is shown in the app, on the Seed Vault screen, before the permission is used.
CHAT (end-to-end encrypted)
- 1:1 messages use the Double Ratchet over a post-quantum X3DH handshake
(hybrid X25519 + ML-KEM-768, FIPS 203) — every message gets its own key, and the key exchange resists "harvest-now, decrypt-later" quantum attacks.
- Group chats use MLS (RFC 9420) for tree-based key agreement that scales past two parties.
- Sealed-sender envelopes mean our relay routes ciphertext only — it cannot read what you send.
- Every message is composed and sent by you — there is no automatic, bulk, or background messaging.
- No phone number, no email — talk to any wallet by address or .sol name.
VOICE CALLS & GROUP VOICE ROOMS (end-to-end encrypted)
- Call any wallet you have a conversation with. Voice only — SIID has no video calling.
- Audio is end-to-end encrypted with DTLS-SRTP: the keys are agreed between the
two devices, so nobody in the middle can listen — including us.
- Call setup is carried inside the same sealed envelopes as your messages, so our
relay learns nothing about it beyond routing ciphertext.
- Connections are routed through our TURN server so your IP address is never
revealed to the person you are talking to. That server forwards encrypted packets it cannot decrypt, and stores none of them.
- Group voice rooms: every group chat has two, and you join one rather than
ringing anybody — nobody's phone rings. Up to 8 people per room, and the audio is a direct encrypted mesh between the participants. There is no mixing server, which means no point where anyone could listen in.
- Hold any participant's picture for a levels panel — turn each person up or down
for yourself alone. Nothing you do there is sent to them or visible to anyone.
- Group admins can ask someone to leave a voice room, or clear a room. Honest
about its limits: everyone else stops receiving that person, but nothing can reach into their device and switch their microphone off.
- Choose which microphone SIID uses in Settings, and test every input to find one
that actually works.
SWAPS & LIMIT ORDERS
- Token swaps routed across every Solana DEX.
- Place LIMIT orders directly in the app — single, OCO (one-cancels-other), and OTOCO (one-triggers-OCO).
- Limit orders keep running when the app is closed.
- An in-app trade feed logs every fill, cancel, and expire as a timeline.
- Market 0.10% (.sol holders 0.05%). Limit-on-fill 0.05% (.sol holders free).
DISCOVER
- Updates — release notes for SIID itself, plus an activity log of your own wallet events.
- News — a blockchain news feed.
- Markets — BTC analytics, US economy indicators, and Solana on-chain activity.
- Trade — a memecoin trading terminal with charts.
- DeFi — see your on-chain positions across lending, staking and liquidity protocols in one place.
- Read-only. Nothing in Discover moves funds or places an order on your behalf.
NOTIFICATIONS (your activity only)
- Get an OS notification when one of your own open limit orders fills, cancels, or expires — even when the app is closed.
- An incoming call rings; a voice room never does.
- Optional blockchain-news alerts are OFF by default; turn them on in Settings only if you want them.
CONNECT TO dAPPS
- Open a Solana app in Siid's built-in browser and connect your wallet in one tap — Siid acts as the wallet provider for pages opened inside it.
NO TRACKING
- No analytics, no Google Analytics, no Mixpanel, no Sentry.
- Relay logs anonymized connection events for rate limiting only, retained ≤24 hours.
- We never store which wallet address connected from which IP.
